7 ways to stay motivated through hard times

Whenever you are surrounded with negativity, feel suffocated about the situation, when your dreams are getting shattered and if you are losing hope. Don’t ever try to control the situation. This is also a phase. It will pass away soon. Although you cannot control the situation but always try to control how you respond to it.

Stay positive, keep your head high and be motivated. Remember, you will always have a chance to bounce back

Here are 7 ways to stay motivated through your tough times:

1.   Don’t control the situation but always try to control how you respond: Figure out how to differentiate the things which are within your control and which are most certainly not? Won’t stress over conditions outside your ability to control. Try not to enable yourself to end up so candidly that it disables your growth. Things may not generally work out as per your plan, however the sooner you get over them, the faster you proceed onward to your next triumph. Only you can control your very own activities and responses.

2.   Stay away from negative people – Negative people will distract you from your goals. Stay away from them. Speak to positive people, stay away from negative conversation or be neutral. Be in touch with critics but not with negative people. There is a fine line between critics and negative people.

3.   Celebrate every small events or success – Celebrate every small or big success with your well-wishers. Remember, you are worth enough to celebrate every goal you achieved. Every celebration keeps you motivated

4.   Plan your activities but be Agile – Planning help you to think through the entire process from beginning to end. Planning always motivate you to contribute, it brings new thought process and make sure to get best output. A To-do-list in your smartphone is a best way to start. Target to finish whatever you plan and never miss to priorities.

5.   Develop a reading habit – Reading is one of the best habit which every successful person has. We should develop a habit to read every day, even for half an hour before you go to bed. Spare some time to read inspiring information to keep you motivated. Buy at least one book in a month.

6.   Don’t repeat the same mistake – Everyone make mistakes. It’s obvious and normal. Learn from your mistakes and never repeat them. Self-evaluate the situation, evaluate the way you have handled it and make a note of do’s and don’ts, which you have learnt from it. This will help you to learn and to be better next time.

7.      Either build or Be a part of right team – Being a part of right team is always crucial to your success. It is so amazing to see that what you can achieve as a group of right people when you are altogether inspired and progressing in the direction of the same goal. Make a rundown of some triumphant individuals in your circle that you can cooperate with, trade thoughts with and who can enable you to complete things.

Cheers!

Why doesn’t Narendra Modi deserve a next term?

I was born and brought up in a small town of Bihar where I was residing at a colony in the outskirts of the city. There was a Harijan Colony close to my residence where under-privileged and uneducated families had been residing for many years. They couldn’t even afford two meals a day, so affording a toilet in their house was out of question. Every day we used to have so much fun seeing all those families sitting in a queue for toilet. Damn, this Modi government couldn’t see our happiness. They came up with such an expensive project of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, and started making toilets, and also, began making them aware about cleanliness and hygiene. This is such a foolishness. Now, when I visit my hometown, I don’t find such queues. We can’t make fun of them or feel sorry about them. This Modi government has taken away fun from our life.

It was so much exciting being in a queue to withdraw money from the ATM, especially during the summer season, when I got a chance to spend a few minutes in an A/C room (as I couldn’t afford an A/C at home) to withdraw money for the monthly expenses like salary for the maid, salary for the car cleaner, payment for the newspaper vendor and many more, but Modi government didn’t like a middle class man like me to spend a few minutes in the ATM and enjoy the A/C. Hence, he came up with the Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojna and started opening accounts for poor people. Now, I don’t go to ATM to withdraw money and simply transfer the money to my maid, cleaner and newspaper vendor’s accounts. I have been forced to stop enjoying A/C in the ATM.

Poor and underprivileged people in my contacts, like security guard and maid can afford LPG cylinder under Pradhan Mantri UjjawalaYojana.  Their standard of living is improving and I feel threatened. This is a serious threat to the middle class family. Government is trying hard to dethrone the legacy of middle class and upper class families where LPG cylinder is a comfort for us.

India is a male-dominated society where government is promoting “Beti Bacho, Beti Padhao” and challenging our thousands of years old customs. Being a parent, if someone doesn’t want a daughter, why is the government educating them to save the female foetus? It’s none of their business. How does it matter if the sex ratio balances in India. We have a few states where sex ratio is so unbalanced that two men are marrying one woman. Why can’t we all get such a privilege? Once these girls will get educated and grow up, they will start challenging our boys in studies, research, jobs and also in debates. We are already dealing with the reservation system in India(thanks to our previous government) and now, going forward our boys have to compete with these girls. That’s so scary and painful.

Those were the days when we had lots of news about bomb blasts in different important cities like Hyderabad, Pune, Delhi, Bangalore, etc. There was an era when it was not a breaking news but a usual one. For the last 4.5 years we didn’t hear of any major blasts in any part of India(excluding J&K). He has surely made the life of intelligence agencies tough. These agencies’ men are also human beings. They too have a right to relax, how does it matter if it leads to a few blasts?

We human beings don’t tend to come out of our comfort zones so easily. In these many years, we have learnt to survive with scams. We were used to it. It used to be the headlines of the newspapers, a topic of debate in the news channels, and a topic of gossips over a cup of tea among friends and colleagues. Under his leadership, he is not giving a chance of such scams and the common man is missing those golden days, when they used to feel connected with their families and friends over such political discussions.

He is expecting us to work hard and stand strong by taking the benefit from the government schemes like Digital India, Startup India, Make in India, etc. What is the point when opposition is ready to offer us an unemployment allowance? When we can make enough money for survival with these allowances then why should we give him another chance where he will expect us to put more and more effort to build the economy?

This is common sense. Common man is watching.
